2009 Dodge Challenger fog light question

I just recently bought a 2009 Dodge Challenger and it came without fog lights I bought the lights and the headlight switch and installed them but they still do now work. The wiring for the lights and switch were there but there might be a relay or fuse needed. I checked owners manual and do not see a fog light fuse or relay listed.

Does anyone have any information on this? Any Mopar mechanics out there

Thanks,

Mo, I don't have any info on 2009's yet but the 07's show a module that's incorporated into the system.  You may have bitten off a bunch with this one.

Yeah I knew it was a risk but I'm sure they will be selling a kit for the ones that did not come with fog lights. I just have to identify the part I am missing. The first model was a limited 2008 year model.

That is some picture there!

Thanks,

Thanks Mo, it's my wife... I wished

It looks like the 07's have the lights going through the body computer and the fog light module, better be careful there, they work off of 1/4 & 1/2 volts, not 12 volts like the old days. One wrong move and things burn up.

Glad I'm not you,  Good Luck Mo

I took it to the dealer and all they had to do is activate the fog lights on the computer.

Cool! So the fog light controller is installed from the factory and left unhooked, hmm, if they didn't install unnecessary parts and probably other items in the car they may not be asking for a bail out, price would have been cheaper for the car.

Well good, I'm glad for ya, must have been a cool surprise for you huh?

Actually nothing was "unhooked" the lights just had to be enabled in the on-board computer. Now if they could just enable the Anit-spin differential in the computer

You didn't push the issue? I would have. Happy for ya, now I have something else to try and remember.
