2004 Acura MDX outside temperature reading

I recently bought a 2004 MDX. The outside temperature readout is not correct. It can be off by up to 60 degrees. Has anyone else experinced this or do you have idea how to correct this problem?

I think it is triggered by squirting water in the grill..
