I ran out of gas.  I put 10 gallons of gas and it won't start.  The engine rotates but won't start.  What could be the problem?  Can someone help me ?

Some things to consider.

1. fuel pumps in gas tanks are cooled by the fuel, if you always run real low on fuel you can burn up a pump.

2. Also if you run real low on a regular basis, you pick up all the crap in the tank bottom, sometimes glogs fuel sock on pump and can clog the fuel filter.

Check to see if the pump runs, if so change fuel filter, note if fuel will run out of line from tank to filter connection.

It was the fuel shutoff switch.  After resetting, it started right up.  Thanks to all who responded.
