Title says it all; '99 JGCL the dual setting thermostat display has blacked out. I can still set the AC/heat by spinning the knobs a lot one way & the other depending on desire but the display doesn't show the numbers. All other gages and lights in this area of the console show fine, except the light up for the shifter letters/numbers seems to be getting finicky and not coming on from time to time. Any advice on what to check (BTW- all fuses are good) or where to get the replacement cheap or how to fix? Check out my report on replacing a bad window regulator- if that can be done I'd just as soon fix as much myself as possible.

The digital temp display might be the bulbs behind the display being burned out, same with the shifter lights. I had a similar problem with my one vehicle.
