Well I recently purchased a Ford Mustang 1999'.
Well when I first purchased the car, the car drove fine. About a couple days later I took it out for a drive and it wouldn't start. Well, at first I thought it was a battery issue so I purchased a new battery, and it worked fine for a day and then the same problem kicked in again. Now we're thinking it MAY be the Alternator, or one of the cables... I figure if that's not it, I'll go ahead and still get it replaced regardless since it should be done sometime in the future anyway.
But any suggestions as to what it could be if it's not the cable or alternator??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

many chain parts stores have portable charging system testers.. computerized... if they know where to clamp on the cables...
that can tell you if the alternator is working ...
what ever you *** do not pull off the battery cable to see if it is charging.. that will blow the alternator..
if you have a digital volt meter... if the alternator is working properly.. the voltage with the engine idling should be 14.2 or higher... more than likely 14.5 volts DC...
