I'm looking for tires for my mother's 1994 Acura Integra (used to be mine).  She had Michelin tires for 6 yrs on there that only had 22k miles on them; however, they are dry rotting.  Since she doesn't drive much, but I want her to be safe when she does, I want to go with an inexpensive, but safe tire.  There are so many tires to choose from.
I've had people tell me to go w/Goodyear, BFGoodrich, Doral, Innovation, Genesis, etc.. It seams the least expensive is the Doral...is anyone familiar with this tire?  Which one between Goodyear and BFGoodrich?  Which out of the three?  Any other suggesions?  Her tire size is 195/60R14.

Thanks much!

Very tough question.  Ask 10 people and expect to get 10 different points of view.  Here is my 2 cents, first, Doral and its sister tire Sumic, are both products of Dunlop, therefore not a bad product at what I guess a pretty affordable price.  Next, the question between Goodyear and Goodrich....both make fine quality products!  Probably more important than the brand you get is where you get them.  If your favorite garage/mechanic sells tire then get their opinion.  In the unlikly event of a problem you want your garage/mechanic on your side to help you out.  If you buy via internet or through a mass merchandiser, they dont know you from Adam, therefore good luck getting a problem taken care of. If you live where it snows, get an all season tire.  If you live south, lean more toward a touring tire.  Thats my 2 cents....
