The window on the passenger side window stopped rolling up or down so I took the door panel off to see what was going on in there. Now the motor never stop running just the window rolling up and down. We any way so when I got it off I noticed a grinding noise well come to find out the steel cord that makes the window move up and down was broke. Can I replace just that cord or would I need to replace the whole regulator. Help would be great before I just start buying stuff.

You can recalibrate the auto up by holding the button down till the window is all the way down and then keep holding it for 5 seconds.
