hello all , thanks for replies, transmission is acting up, wont shift into reverse or the higher gear and the "off" light starts flashing on the overdrive button - are these 2 things connected? hearing a whining sound when out of nuetral or park. just started to happen no problems before at all. fluid is good not burnt and at the right level. once again thanks for any suggestions  

Hey, the same thing is happened to my navigator.. off light on the shift lever is blinking and every time I put it in reverse the car cuts off.. Are you still having that problem or did you find out what was causing the problem?
