I have a 2006 Toyota Sienna with Dunlop tires.  About three months ago, I was notified by the Toyota service center that one of the tires needs to be replaced.  When I went to a tire center, it was confirmed that the tire was defective even though it still has enough tread depth.  I contacted the dealership and they asked me to purchase a new tire and give me a prorated discount (the discount was a very small amount because they say that the tire only has a three-year life).  I ultimately decided to replace it with a used Michelin tire since the lease is coming due soon.  Then it happened to the second tire and today the third tire.  To me, this is no longer an issue of "three-year" life on the tread depth.  It is simply an issue of product safety.  Toyota and Dunlop should recall those tires.  They are defective because their inside surface (the side not facing the street) has many cracks, as small as a quarter to as large as three inches wide.  Does anyone else have the same problem?  

Yes, i have a 2006 sienna LE as well.  the mileage is only 5400 as of today.  both are bad in the back.  one on the right side had popped.  The dealer refused to replace them.  i have to purchase michelin at costco.  as for the left side, every week i have to pump air into it.  the pressure is 20psi and i have pummped it back to 35-40psi.  the dealer said they didn't find any problem and no dunlop tires recall.  they said they'll replace the dunlop if i purchase a new one.  that's a stupid idiotic solution.  i guess they want to make money ***  i rather go to costco and purchase a michelin tire then letting them to earn my $$$ for dunlop tires.  it's not worth for dunlop tires.
