I'm looking for some thoughts or advise on why a check engine light will not come on when the key is turn to the ignition position? A little background, I replaced the cylinder head, distributor, cap, rotor, ECU, and main relay. The cylinder head was replaced first when the car was overheated and melted the spark plugs to the walls. After replacing the cylinder head the car ran for a few minutes before shutting off. Once the car shut off, I lost the check engine light. In trying to get the check engine light back, I've replace the distributor, cap, rotor, ECU and main relay trying to get the check engine light to reappear. Anyone out there run into this and know of any possible solutions? Thanks in advance.
