Hi, My 1990 Pontiac 6000 just stopped one day and wouldn't start again until I let it sit for a couple hours. Then it started and ran fine for another 20 minutes and the same thing happened again. I gradually got worse. I replaced the ignition module and crank sensor but no help. It has 179,000 miles on it and a 3.1 liter engine. Now when I go to start it it turns and starts but then just dies. Almost like the old Chryslers with a bad ballast resister. Fuel pressure is 42 psi at the fuel rail test port and I definitely have spark at the plugs. It has multi port fuel injection. The OBD1 system shows no codes at this time or anytime during the run problem.
Thanks, Gary
