I'm looking to purchase a new car and I know I want to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 thousand (my trade-in is worth around 7 so that will help). I want AWD for the New England winters and a lot of horsepower. I've looked at a few cars and here's what I'm considering... Let me know if I'm leaving anything out. -Audi A4 w/ 3.2 -Dodge Charger R/T -Nissan Maxima (I know it isn't AWD, but I liked the one I test drove) -Acura TL (again, I know it's not AWD...) I don't particularly want to get into the BMWs or Mercedes of the world cause I work construction and a badge like that would be more of a headache than its worth. Is there anything I'm leaving out? What do you think? Thanks in advance

If you’re searching for an AWD car, the Impreza 2.5 should be added to your test-drive list. You could also take a glance at the Suzuki SX4 AWD hatchback and Dodge Caliber R/T AWD, which are also AWD compact cars that start at $15,270 and $20,495, respectively. Gas mileage isn’t going to be stellar with these cars; the SX4 has the best joint city/highway mileage rating, at 24 mpg, disparity to the Caliber and Impreza’s 22 mpg combined rating. I would suggest you used Penskewest.com it has detailed description to let you know of the capabilities, features and limitations of the cars. Good luck!

Subaru's in general all have AWD, Mitsubishi Evo's, Audi Quattro anything, VW Passat, Infiniti G35x. That's all I can think of.
