Have a 2001 Ford Focus wagon. When I travel (even short distances of 30 miles or so) if I park and turn off the car for about 7 minutes then drive to my destination and park/turn off the car and come back within 12 minutes - the car will not start.
It will turn over but not engage. Have to sit for 5 to 90 minutes before it "magically" starts again.
Other than running for over 30 miles and making two "short" stops where the car is turned off - I cannot seem to find a common problem. A/C, fan, lights, humidity levels, air temperatures, etc vary.
Ideas?
