'03 Tundra, V8, 2-Wheel Drv, Auto, 128k mi ---------------------------------------------------------------- Purchased 6/03 w/ 11K miles. I'm on my 3rd AC Blower Motor (replaced @ approx. 48k mi & 76k mi). Took to dealer for noisy blower motor @ 92k, 108k, 124k, & 128k. AC was working at the time, so they said there's no problem. Sometimes it's noisy at start-up; other times about 30 minutes into ride. Three times in last 3 weeks when starting truck the AC fan wouldn't blow. The 1st (7/15) & 3rd (8/03) times it started working about 15 minutes later; the other time (7/23-24), the following morning. When the fan does come back on the AC works great. I'm wondering if I need to replace my Blower Motor again or if this sounds like some sort of relay switch issue. Has anyone out there experienced this?? - Thanks, David...

Hi there, I have exactly the same problem you describe. I have yet to take it to get it looked at. I was wondering if you found out what the problem was. By the way, this is not the first time for my truck. When it was under warranty I took it in twice for the same thing..... Hmm, I wonder if I have the receipts. Well, in any case, I hope you fixed your problem, cheaply. Thanks, Joaquin.

Yep! Me too, I have a 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited... the AC fan stopped blowing last week one of the hottest weeks of the summer, and after I drove over a bump it started back up, but, it was out for about 15 min. or so... I thought I may have been a fuse or loose wire. However, this morning I started the truck back up and smelled a burning smell, and noticed that the AC fan was on but not blowing in the vents. I turned off the truck and checked under the hood at my s-belt and the compressor pulley. Everything was okay under the hood. I came back started the truck back up and turned off the AC button and noticed that the compress was working when I pushed the AC on and off... I then checked the fuses and relays for obvious burnout etc. And nothing. Judging from the burning smell this last time I started the truck up, I am pretty sure it was the fan motor or the wiring to the fan motor. The truck is down at the Toyota dealership now, I thought that I still have my maintenance service coverage for an oil change etc. However, apparently when you purchase that agreement it too expires. So, the money I used to purchase the agreement that was suppose to at least save me on the little maintenance issues was apparently gone to waste as well. Never get the service agreement unless you plan on using all the coupons before the package expires. They give you 5 years or 50,000 at my Toyota dealership, however, my truck only has 34,000 miles on it now! And... It is a 2004! So... yes, I have had it for 6 going on 7 years now, but, I never expected to have so many problems with the service agreement I paid extra for when I purchased the truck. And now the AC! What's next? A good truck, but even so, the AC fan should have NEVER gone out this soon! Good luck my fellow Tundra/Tacoma owners!
