hi,
There are different method a user can try to improve the accuracy of his or her GPS Navigation Systems. One of the famous methods is the use of augmentation method. By the use of this system it adds up some value in the calculation by using the external information to it. The basic logic to use this system is how the sensors of the GPS devices receive information through the satellite. There are some systems which are used to provide the additional data. While the other system provide additional information on the device in the calculation of the car GPS device.

The ONE XL-S includes TomTom's innovative new Map Share technology. Map Share enables users to make easy changes to the map and to share map corrections with other TomTom customers so that users always have the most up-to-date maps available

when i wanted to see the top speed of my harley (speedo only goes to 120mph) so i put my tomtom in a plastic ziplock bag and duct taped it to may bars (crude i know, but it worked)
a normal car gps is half the price of a waterproof bike kit, so get creative

LOL that is a good idea! I never thought of that. Sure beats spending twice as much on a waterproof motorcycle GPS, like you said.

As far as GPS accuracy, none of them are perfect, but some are definitely better than others. Other than that, I don't really know what to say about it.

you cant necessarily improve the accuracy of a unit.

The more sensitive the unit is the better 'accuracy' you'll have. So naturally the more expensive it will be.
