Hi, there:
I noticed recently that my back left tire has a pretty apparent cracked slot on the tire edge.  But the tire is not leaking air.  Is this a safety issue?
It is also quite strange that after I go for several long trips this summer, the threads has a lot of tiny cracks on its surface although they are not worn.  And the car vibrate when speed higher than 80 mph.  Any suggestions?

Thanks
Rob

Rob,

There quite a number of different cracks that can occur in tires - some are bad, and some are not -  so it's best to have someone look at it.  Take it to wherever you bought the tires and ask them.  Do this ASAP as some cracking could be a symptom of an impending tire failure.

Thank you very much.  I will take it to a mechanics tomorrow.
