My Ford Explorer speedometer started acting up 2 weeks ago.Traveling 65 it only showed 35 and bouncing. Now overdrive light blinks on and off and speedo is off but rpms seem inline with speed im traveling.sometimes takes too long to shift in lower gears.Is my tranny going or could it be something easier to fix.

Have you checked the VSS, vehicle speed sensor?
