Hello, I just recently bought a used 2005 Chevrolet Malibu.  I noticed that on the left side of the windshield, there's an attached plastic clip that seems to be there to hold papers or tickets.  Originally, I thought the first owner had put this on himself; however, after attempting to remove it and Googling it, it appears that this clip is part of the car.  Does anyone know exactly why Chevrolet decided to put this on?  Is there a way to remove it?  Not a major problem, obviously, but I'd still like to take it off if possible.
