I have a Ford Ranger - Manual Transmission.

I rarely use the parking break as 98% of the time I park in a flat area.

Several times late last fall I had the following happen. After I started the truck, put it in gear and start to drive one wheel "stuck". After just a second or so it would free up.

Then, one Sunday last winter, it would not free up. I drove it about 100 feet to try and get it to free up but it would not. I had it towed to the garage that services it for me.

When they started it up it went fine and they could not find anything wrong. They thought some water might have gotten in the wheel and frozen.

I have not had a problem with it again until today. We had been having hot weather for us (80's). It turned cold on Monday (high of 59). Tuesday morning it did the same thing again. I felt the hesitation in the wheel that it did not want to turn but then did right away.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Dusty
