I live on L.I. I would like to purchase the above car. Currently there is a $2000 rebate. What would be a reasonable offer to give the dealer a "little" profit and me happy. Thanks.

I would shoot for invoice price + rebate and see what the dealer goes for. Just remember, the rebate is from the manufacturer, not the dealer, so you should try to get a nice discount from the dealer on top of the rebate.

OFFER INVOICE +++ UNLESS THE DEALER HAS AN INFLATED DOC FEE. ACCEPTABLE FEE SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 299.00. WATCH OUT FOR HYUNDAIS MAINTAINENCE REQUIREMTS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE TH FULL BENEFIT OF THEIR EXTENSIVE FACT. WARR. BY THE WAY CONS. REPORTS RATES THE CAR #1 IN ITS CLASS AS OF MAY2008. I SUGGEST LEASING THE CAR FOR A 36 MO TERM. CAR PEOPLE ARE STILL SKEPTICAL OF THIS PRODUCT!!!!!
