My daughter came to me several days ago complaining of a bad odor coming from her A/C unit in her car. She also stated she had run over a dead armadillo a few days before.  I am here to tell you that it was BAD!!  It was an odor like nothing I have ever encountered.  Assuming it was the armadillo, I had my husband check under the cars carriage.  We saw nothing.  I had her run her car through the car wash.. going back and forth over the under carriage wash.  The smell did not ease at all.  Because the smell has now embedded itself inside the car, today we washed the seats, carpet, took out the seats and cleaned everywhere, Febreezed and used Oust on everything.  Without the AC on...the car is tolerable... still a faint odor... but turn on the AC.... and we are all gagging.  It truely smells like a dead animal.    I really do NOT think the road kill is at fault...just a mere coincidence.  I truly believe it is in the A/C. HELP!! ANY SUGGESTIONS/IDEAS?? Ever heard of this?
