I was driving about 70mph with cruise control on yesterday.  Suddenly my engine just turned off - there was no warning or error lights.  I pulled over and the car started up just fine after that with no more problems for the rest of my trip (about 2 hours).  Has anyone ever heard of this happening, and what might be the cause?  

If I'm not mistaken, Jeep may have a recall on this vehicles as well as the Commander, Compass and Liberty models.. The programs was not installed correctly and the chip may need to be flashed once again.

The Jeep Site has an area which if one enters the vehicles "vin" number into the system, one can obtian a list of issue and recalls with that particular jeep.. and see if the jeep has been flashed or needs to be taken to the dealer for this option.
