First problem with the immobilzer occurred when my daughter opened the tail gate the same time I was turning the key in the ignition.  Co-incidence?  The alarm went off but I was still able to start the car and drive it.  My local mechanic didn't want to know.  He called our nearest Jeep dealer, and they didn't want to know either as it has UK specs and I am in France!  (The dealer has one sitting in his back lot for 6 months waiting parts.)  Somehow, problem ceased.  Ran OK for two months until I washed it and went to put it back in the garage.  Turned the key and the alarm went off.  Ended up pushing it into the garage and it has been sitting there since.  I checked to ensure all doors and bonnet were locked, no overhead light on, but found one electric window inoperative.  Possibly sensing that the window is open or circuit not complete?  Battery only two years old put on recharge just in case but had no indication of battery problems before hand.  Fuses and connexions seem all OK.  Anyone experience the same thing and have found a solution?
