My wife and I are expecting our first baby in a couple months and everyone is telling us to put the infant seat in the middle of the back seat, saying it's the safest place. We have a 2001 Solara Conv. with rear bucket seats and it doesn't have a middle seatbelt. The car has side air bags so I'm not sure if it is safe to put the seat on the left or right side. Does Toyota have an answer or a fix for this problem. Are there any other Solara Conv parents who have some solution to this? We just don't know what to do.
