Hi,
My daughter has a Honda Accord 1996 with 135000 miles. I'm very worry because she has to drive home sometimes(about 150 miles each way) . Pls advice me what types of services needed to keep the car running safe. We can not afford a new car.

Of course you to bring the on your mechanic for a regular check up. Also keep the car cleaning so that it won't get any rust or any thing that would make him ugly.

keeping the brakes in check is always good. never wanna end up with faulty brakes.

Always check the oil, water, tires and brake /fluids. the car is seasoned so it requires regular check up, specially if its going on long drives. Check the car parts if it is in good shape. Tell your daughter to be cautious and ask somebody with knowledge with cars if there is something unusual happened.
