Hi, has anyone came across the problem of injector cleaner additive having adverse affects on the Oxygen Sensor in your vehicle like causing it to run lean? Thanks, addjdd

never heard or had it happened to me.Most of your bottled injector cleaners are useless anyway.I use otc injector cleaner through a canister type system with good sucess.I had good luck before with bg 44k cleaner that you add to gas tank. Can only find online.Dirty injectors? Why do you ask?Is your 02 bias lean?Contaminated 02 sensor?Driveability problems?

The main reason for a fuel injector cleaning is that deposits form at the tip of the injector and once it starts it gets progressively worse. Now the only time these deposits form is when the engine is first shut off and still very hot. _________________________________ Nissan Maxima Parts |Honda Wheels

No. I've never heard of a non-O2-friendly additive.
Like others have said, injector cleaners that you add to your tank are useless. The only 'real' way to clean your injectors is with a pressurized system that connects directly to your fuel rail.
