Hey, new to this forum! Into NASCAR for a while and wanna see it live, just wondering if anyone wants to share their experiences and let me know what to expect.

a NASCAR race would be great to go to, Ive only really been to a couple Drag races.  

I've been to Bristol Motor Speedway twice.  Believe me, being at a race is completely different than watching it on TV.  The sound of the cars is incredible.  I had to enter a lottery to get to buy tickets to  the spring Bristol race.  Now that I have them, I'm going to keep my seats forever!

you have season tickets? thats rad. Check this out, another guy told me about this when i was asking about where to find cheap tickets. It's a raffle or something where you make a video about your car or brakes and you get entered to win a crazy trip to a nascar race, money, hotel the whole thing.. and at the worst you can win ipods, xboxs..

Having been to all the major events as a promoter in industry a few years back, all I can say is do it, it is one of the most enjoyable businesses I was ever in given I have been a lifelong NASCAR fan.  Use to drive years back, missed it, so did next best thing, became promoter.  

My best advice is to get a pit pass if you can, this is where all the action is. Funny, when I was promoting, the drivers who were just starting out in ARCA are now in Sprint class now so it is nice to see them graduate to the big time NASCAR events. I helped them out, so I always had pit and press pass, and will never forget how friendly all the drivers were and are.  They know the value of fans, and most appreciate us.

if your still curious about goin to a NASCAR race at all, I came across a video contest site called ragingmechanic.com you upload a bad brakes or repair story and get the most votes for a trip to a NASCAR race.

seems legit way of goin, kinda fun maybe.  

Sweet! I wanna get a pit pass.. probably expensive though eh? And yeah SH, i checked out that contest/raffle thing and I'm making a vid tonight.. can't beat a chance to win this.

My buddy just showed me this contest when i was talking about pitt passes and going to a race this summer. you can win a wicked trip to a Nascar Sprint race.. like full on!
round trip, airfare, spending cash, tickets to the race, hotel.... and at the worst you get a nascar hat and shirt just for entering. can also win other stuff like xbox and ipods.. but im goin for the gold!!! i want the TRIPPPPP!!!

Hey Chode...I have been to a grand prix event before, not NASCAR It was in in my old home town couple years back. That was pretty exciting. Love the roar of the engines when you close to the action.
