As a long time fundraiser, I can tell you this, it isn't getting any easier when there is a recession going on.

As a suggestion, since you are putting on a car show, offer wholesale discount direct to consumer Extended Auto Warranties.  Not only will you be offering the best warranty at the lowest prices, better yet, you can raise a significant amount of funds for your Autism Center at no investment or cost to the non-profit organization.

Simply put, register as a free distributor, and I am sure you will have more than a few at your car show who would like the concept of protecting against unexpected repair costs, peace of mind, and most importantly, helping your fundraiser. For each sale, your organization will net $500. plus with each purchase of warranty, your donors get a $2,000.00 Cash Gift Card effectively negating the whole cost of warranty.

With no cost or obligation to all non profit 501 (c) 3 organizations, you have nothing to lose to post a banner with your free web site for Warranties-For-Less.com and capture a few thousand dollars more for your Autism Center and the kids.  Simply business cards or free brochures to pass out at event are all you need to do.
