My 96 Dodge Stratus is stalling out on me while I am driving....It sometimes stalls when I give it gas and then it powers back up and keeps going, it also stalls at lights. I can slowly watch the RPM's get lower and lower,at times I put it in neutral and the RPM's go back to normal......This is problem #1......
Problem #2 is the car makes a loud revving noise while I am driving, it's hard to explain the sound but it's close to vrrrrrrrrrr.....and it stays steady until I slow down. I have recently done an oil change, changed the oil filter and the air filter. ??????????????????????????????????????????????????.

problem 2 sounds like a wheel bearing.Does it get louder when you take a left or right hand turn.Tires can also make a wheelbearing noise.

THE noise is a bad wheel bearing.
