When we get in our jeep after it has been sitting for awhile it is very hard to start. It will turn over for a long time. If I let off of the key for a second and then turn it back over it fires right up.
Thanks Pat

That would be a fuel pump wearing out....the fact that it takes a while to turn over and when u let of the key it starts up...def a fuel pump.....try turning the key to "on" position for like 5 sec then start it...should fire right up...after time, it takes longer for a older fuel pump to pressureize....

If you cycle the key 3 times and it starts right up , it could be the fuel pump, It could also be the crank sensor, listen for the wine that the pump will make ,when turning on the key and you hear the pump running that will rule out the crk sensor. On inital start up,turn the key one then off for 3 to 5 seconds, repeat this for 3 times and listen for the pump,
