The car I want is a 2008 GMC Sierra. The dealer is offering a $2000 rebate or 0% financing for 60 months. I want to go with the 0% financing. But I don't want to pay anymore than invoice. Can dealer make a profit off of this deal? Thanks.

idiotic response. If you don't know at what point dealer's make a profit,
you don't know where to stand to negotiate. You could hold out until you're blue in the face for price X, but if the dealer isn't going to make a profit, they will never give in. But if you know where the profit margin is (taken into consideration all of the avenues of profit a dealer has available, secret manufacturer rebates, dealer hold back, etc) you can be assured in your negotiations. You've got to know where you stand.

The rebate / financing you mention is offered by GMAC and NOT, NOT, NOT the dealer. So it has nothing to do with his profitability.

its a credit rebate offered by the oem's credit division. The dealer uses it as a way to sell cars.
The GMC Sierra's are nice cars.
