I am looking for the place where the diode in the drl lights in a 99 gmc Safari is? I have the new diode but cannot find it anywhere. I have looked under all the dash(except behind the airbag) under the hood etc. The dealer shop forman said it is under the dash by the steering column but it's not there , wiring diagram from the parts counter show it by the radio but not there either.

The DRL diode(D300)is located on the lower side of the left "B "pillar.

BODY pillar , behind the left kick panel.
