My 92 Ford Explorer Sport has been tampered with by my step father. I need help, the only thing is I only see one circuit not plugged into somthing that is clean/ recently removed, on right hand side facing front, attached to plastic guard above the left wheel the color on the wire is blue. When I look at fuel gauge it goes way above full and moves slowly, everything works in car but when I try to start it, it wont turn over, I have also noticed that the light under the hood flickers as i try to start. I need help I looked in the manual and narrowed this problem because it's not the starter or battery, both work, spark plugs are in, alternator and fuel lines connected. I know he wouldn't damage the car so it must be a missing part. Oh and I tried reseting the fuel shut off but it's fine. Please get back to me asap. Thanks

Interesting,
Sounds like it would be starter solenoid if your lights are flickering, meaning connection to starter is not being made, common problem, easy fix, and cheap part overall.
Good luck,

Good luck,
