Hello I am new to this Forum and I have a problem .
I just bought a 97 Camry and it has the 2.2 L engine the engine starts right up but has no oilpressure at all I unscrewed the oil filter and cranked the engine and no oil is coming out at all what could be the problem?Can anybody help please?

Did you find the no oil pressure problem?
I'm asking because I'm re-building a '97 Camry 2.2L engine that lost oil pressure and burned up the connecting rod bearings. I'm guessing either the oil pump stopped working or an obstruction blocked the oil pickup screen. I pulled the engine out of the car last night, and will disassemble as time permits. Did you find another problem? Thanks. Stan
