I still need help with this problem. Hello, I need some help with my daughter's car. Only had the car a few months. The car has 143,000 miles. the car idles fine when cold. Once it warms up it tries to cut out. When driving, we have to put the car in neutral when at a stop light to take the load off the motor. When you excerate from the stop light it can start to chug, cut out, or even die. We have changed the fuel filter, spark plugs, oil, and transmission filter and fluid, oxegyn sensor, and idle control module. At first I thought the transmission was slipping, but it is fine. I have noticed the tac bounces around most of the time but works when it wants to.
I have heard to check the air intake tube for leaks or cracks. I have heard it could be hte camshaft positioning sensor. And I ahve also heard it could be something about a ground could be off whcih goes to hte tac and distributor.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks, Kyle
