I just got a used Civic LX for my teen-aged daughter. No owners manual so I ordered online. When received, I now notice documentation in the manual regarding a keyless remote. There was not a keyless remote as part of the purchase (via a broker through an auction). The car has electronic door locks.
Question: How can I find out if the car supports a keyless remote to determine if I want to purchase one?

I would contact the dealer.If you bought from a dealer other than HONDA or private seller, contact your local Honda dealer and go from there. Usually with the vin they can get you another one. They can be a little expensive but hey- convenience has a price.

Would you mind checking to see what that manual says as far as how many miles you should drive before changing the timing belt? I just bought an 05 civic lx for my daughter also and I dont have the manual yet. I would appreciate it so, so much!
