Yep, after reading about all the Daimler-Chrysler [Jeep owner] power window failures, I also now am one of the most dissatisfied customers. I was so proud in purchasing this 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my wife who has since put on 80000 enjoyable miles. And in Oct of this year while driving down the highway, there was a very loud bang (and the L/H window dropped). $395.00 later (included the regulator and labor) she again was a happy Jeep owner. And now on Dec 30th sitting in the garage the (R/H window dropped) and $456.47 later (again a regulator and labor) we were able to enjoy New Years eve. Having contacted Daimler-Chrysler via e-mail and getting a response to contact the customer assistance center (I did) to then get a response (sorry, your car is to old). Seriously, old or not, the R/H window in (6) years was used less than (100) times, and the L/H probably no more than (400) times. Guess this will be my last Jeep. And it is one fine vehicle, except for this engineering failure. Forward this on to all the Jeep owners. These failures were never identified before purchase and no recalls have come out of Daimler-Chrysler, and many customers are very unhappy.... This is wrong....
