Newer Car 60,000 kms, Problems with the Windshield Wipers blowing fuses whenever you used the quick wipe lever (pulling ahead, not clicking up or down), this problem quit, but now when lever pushed down for wash, it works, but when lever pushed up to the delay wiping, it stalls out about half way up the windshield. Have to click back down, then up again just to get the wipers out of the way???
Anyone elce with knowledge or similar problems???

you have a colum mounted wiper switch control,,,with the wires running down the inside of the steering colum. Since you seem to have traded one problem for another I would suspect that one or two wires heve thier insullation rubbed bare and are shorting against the steering colum.
You will have to pull that system apart and check it out. I've seen this happen a few times.
