We are having the same trouble with our 1996 Subaru. Have put on new radiator, water pump and thermostat. Have you found your answer to your same problem yet? If so please post here.

i can top that. i have a 98 sub legacy gt i changed the water pump radiator hoses, timing belt, and radiator. i still have overheating problems when i travel far. at first it was my radiator cap, bought a new one, problem fixed. Until i drove to Miami, strangely i let the car sit for an hour, turned it on and it was good. Drove right back home perfectly, and so far its been good with me. so my advice is make sure u have the right radiator cap on, your fans are working, and that you are putting 50/50 coolant cuz if u just put water it will evaporate.
