I have a 1992 Dodge Spirit and the trandsmission is goin out. it doesnt like 1st or 3rd gear it only likes 2nd gear. i dont know exactly wut is wrong. can someone help me

Need a little more info. What is it doing or not doing.And what trans do you have the 3 speed with lock up, which is a hydrolic trans, or the 604(41te) the 4 speed with lock up, which is an eletonic trans.?
