Is it true that the brake pads will always squeal, or can it be stopped? Also, they leak down when sitting still; especially when the sound of the engine change when the coolant fan comes on. I think I got a lemon. I only had it for 4 weeks.

To stop the brakes noise i sugest you try ceramic pads.If you brakes are leaking down while sitting still, and there are no leaks anywhere, does the fluid level stay the same? if it does that would be a problem with the master cylinder.

I agree, ceramic brakes the noise....
