My trans is acting funny at times.  It seems to have a problem going into overdrive while going about 35-40mph.  It shutters a little almost as if it does not want to go into OD and then it does. I would also like to add that it does not do it all the time. Anyone have any ideas on what this might be I would love to hear them. Other than that the car runs great and I am still paying on it so I think I would like to keep her going a little longer.

Your Torque Converter Clutch isn't working properly.  Any reputable garage should be able to troubleshoot and fix it.

Could only be th TCC lock-up solenoid,do you have any trans codes stored in the EEC? There was a TSB issued for this problem, Have you tried changing the filter and fluid? And use a good fluid Mercron 6 for this trans.Should help with the TCC shudder.

jgate is right on this one, except for the fluid type. You should only use Mercon V.  Your owner's manual will tell you the same thing.  If you do have a DTC it will likely be a P0741.  Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of converters cause this and that is usually the repair.  Be cautious if you take it somewhere and are told the solenoid is bad.  It is likely it will be replaced and the problem will still be there.
