Hey all-
I recently bought a 98 legacy 2.5gt. I enjoy the car, but I am wondering if the fact that I have two different sets of tires on the car will lead to problems with the differentials. The tires are the same series (205/60r16 I think) but I imagine that they differ in tread wear. I've heard through multiple sources that this can lead to differential problems. Is this true? I had an Audi coupe with quattro for quite a while and a previous mechanic said it was fine to have tires of differing tread wear front and rear as long as the tires were the same wear L to R, but he also mentioned that with subaru's tread wear is more critical. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul Bourdon
