Chrysler does not keep warranty promise.

I would like to let people know that Chrysler does not hold true to their statement when they say a new vehicle warranty is transferable between owners. I just purchased a 2006 Dodge Durango, with 24,000 miles. I call Chrysler to register the vehicle in my name so I could bring it to the dealer for service. Due to this being a U.S. vehicle, and myself being a Canadian resident, was told the warranty is voided. The reason they gave me was that Chrysler does not promote cross border shopping.

I guess its O.K. from them to built and sell between countries, but not for their consumers.

I will never by another Chrysler product.

“Best warranty in the business” I think NOT!
