My 2002 Highlander AWD has a buzzing noise from the front of the engine compartment. This is loudly heard when the ignition key is turned to "accessoriy" ie one click before starting. The buzz will last five to ten minutes or until the engine is started. Then either it cannot be heard over the engine or dissappears. The noise has an electical compnent quality and does not sound mechanical. Any ideas before venturing into the expense of a visit to our expensive and uncaring local Toyota dealership?
