have been wanting an Infiniti G35 for a loooonnnnggg time.  The time has finally come and will be ready to purchase one in October.  I currently drive a 2000 Honda Accord.  My husband and I took a trip in my car this week and we had to stop at least  every hour due to my husband's lower back pain.  Anytime he drives my car for 20-30 minutes at a time, his back really starts hurting.

My question is...........how comfortable is the driver's seat of the Infiniti G35?  Does anyone personally have lower back problems and drive an Infiniti G35?

I'm also trying to decide between a Coupe and a Sedan.  I can probably guess a Coupe will be out of the question for my husband.

Hello: I have a new 2008 G37 Coupe. The car is a blast to drive, comfort controls easy to use, radio is like being in a concert, in short the car is everything and more. However, the damn seat makes my butt numb and my left leg goes to sleep if the trip is longer than 30 minutes. The dealer said the seat will get softer over time. Head room is limited but can gain extra clearance by openning the moon-roof. I would love to change out the driver's seat.

Did you have this butt/leg problem immediately after buying the car?  Just wondering if my husband test drove the car for an hour or so if he would be able to tell if his back/legs will hurt.  My husband is 5'9" 205lbs.

I was supposed to get my new car a few mths ago but it didn't happen.  Now my goal is for the summertime.  Still trying to decide between the coupe and sedan.  I know I'd be "happy" with the sedan, but I LOVE the looks of the coupe.  OMG, when I saw the new G, my heart started racing

If I were to get the coupe, I think I'd want a standard, but I'm at the age now that I don't know if fun is more impotant than practical.

Yes.  I traded in my Xtera for my G35 after my microdiskectomy.
It is a great ride, but just recently my seat mount started to give way.  I am getting it fixed tomorrow.  (About $750-$850 for my 2003 not covered by warranty)

Infiniti Dealerships around Southern California treat you very well with a complimentary G35 loaner while your repairs are being done. Why?  COST OF OWNERSHIP is higher than what I expected.  Perhaps in 2007 & 2008 models they improved the abnormal wearing of items.

I love my sedan or the coupe.  Cheaper, more space, family oriented and only a little HP and performance difference.  However, I know that I have the minority opinion.
