Anyone have any ideas on this? My factory installed car alarm has been having problems for about 6 months. At random times it goes off for no reason...the car is locked and it goes off...the doors are unlocked and you open the door and the alarm goes off...in the middle of the night in the
garage the alarm goes off. I believe it is tied into the factory installed remote start. Now the alarm hasn't gone off in 2 days but the remote start now doesn't work. Anyone know of the answer to this mystery?

Im actually experiencing the same problem right now with my new 2007 Pontiac G5...The alarm came off in middle of the night...I even blamed my neighbors for it....The next day my remote starter would not work and my car's alarm went off several times...Im going back to my dealer tomorrow to get it checked...Ill update u this weekend...

I've got a 2008 G5 with a factory anti-theft system installed. A couple mornings ago, it started going off (~ 6 am). Last night (~8) it did it twice again. I ended up pulling the fuse for the horn in an attempt to not make enemies out of neighbors 
Anybody come up with a resolution on this? Is this something the dealer is able to fix?
