I just purchased a car--1990 Honda CRX . Although it does not have any rust on the frame or body right now (besides a small spot on the gas cap) i have been told that this car, when not stored or maintained correctly is very susceptible to rust. Since my parents won't let me park it in the garage (they would have to park their cars outside) I was wondering what is the best way to store it outside (car cover?--which one is best?) and what are the best ways to prevent rust on the car. Thanks

You could try the Technalon, that is one of the most expensive car cover. . But I haven't try it 'coz I just bought vw car cover for my car and that is enough for my car's protection.
For the rust, i use bed liner.
hope this help..

Some car washes offer a rust inhibitor to be added to the wash cycle. You might look for this if you want to keep your car rust free. Another thing is to make sure your car cover is breathable. If you leave your car under a low quality cover for too long moisture may build up underneath which is not good for the vehicle. Good luck keeping your new car looking new.
