roof rack attachment needs for my fact inst rack ( 1998 K2 Jetta )

I just bought my 1998 Jetta K2 & it has a Vetex Factory rack, but no attachments. We want to carry a tandem Kayak on top & need to know what attachment is needed & where to get it. Thanks
