I really need help with an odd electrical problem.  I was 12 miles out of town today in the desert.  I stopped my Jeep; engine turned off;  then there was a tickin sound ( possible circuit breaker?) and the   hands on ALL the dials ( speed, tach, fuel, electrical , oil) started to go from left to right; right to left in unison.  Continued for about 30 seconds.  Stopped. Took key out. Started same thing.  Car would not start. Cleaned battery terminals - nothing. No electricity at all.  Them ticking, with key out, for 5 seconds.  Jumped battery after checking acid.  Nothing.  Called friend who towed me home.  Have put battery on charger.  Any other ideas????

Did you check the main fuse in the PDC? it should be a 60amp or a 40amp fuse. Also check for a bad ground off the battery to the engine block.
